mihlbauer95 Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 Last Friday I got a 1997 dodge ram Sst. I love the truck but it is a single cab and I am wondering if anyone can help me out??? Can I use regular subs or do I have to get shallow mounts? The space behind the seat is 57" wide 21" tall and at the bottom it is 10" from seat to wall and at top it is 5". pa-pa-platypus Posted December 19, 2011 Report Posted December 19, 2011 you shouldnt HAVE to get shallow mounts..just when your shopping for a sub make sure the mounting depth will allow for it it to fit in the box you plan to build. This isn't teeball. YOU DO NOT GET A TROPHY JUST BECAUSE YOU SHOW UP.
