Relyks Posted December 24, 2011 Report Share Posted December 24, 2011 (edited) the motor itself anyone got a opinion on? gas mileage? how long it last?way it runs? parts? etc etc the motor is fuel injected just did a tune up - Oil changed - New plug wires cap and rotor - air filter - cleaned radiator - set the idle - new pcv valve - new fan and alternator belt and there is a grease sitting on the fan and i greased it and if you had this motor/truck what would you do ( engine wise to it )? These motors are known to have their own problems just like every other Toyota truck engine from this time frame. I read a thread the other day on another forum about switching the 3vz-e to the 22re and it listed the pros and cons of each engine I will see if I can find it again.
