eltortuga94 Posted December 25, 2011 Report Posted December 25, 2011 I've been looking into doing a 4th order for an Obsidian 12 & WinISD Pro Alpha says 1.323 Sealed & 0.633 @ 44.48hz which seems a little weird to me since the dimensions seem to be opposite lol. So I was wondering if anybody that has some experience with Obsidian 12's and/or 4th Orders. System: Basically Stock In process of upgrading

donellk Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 Haven't tried to design a 4th order for this 12 but I kno some programs give u crazy specs because there designed to give u max bandwidth! Most 12s are 1-1.5 sealed 2-3 ported is your going 2:1 ratio Sn Make sure the specs are put in right also I have never used that program but in bass box pro if I but something in wrong or forget to choice DVC it'll give me a recommended box like 56 cubes sealed .3 ported tuned at 30hrz lmao! I'm fairly fine with the bandwidth it gave me but I just thought it was weird that the ported side was half the size of the sealed side. haha yea, it's done that to me a few times too.
