fecupe2001 Posted December 26, 2011 Report Posted December 26, 2011 People take the FS too serious IMO, yes a lower FS can play stronger lows in theory, but i´ve used high FS subs for lows without any problems, for an example, i used 3 DD 1510´s in my swift that had 27 hz FS iirc, box was 4.5 c/f with a 38 hz tuning and then, changed them for 3 mtx 7500´s (sponsor anyone) that had a 44 hz FS if i´m not mistaken, it didn´t play lows as strong as the DD´s but i can asure you, i never had any problems, can tricks, small hairtricks and everything playing below tuning frequency with 44 hz FS subs, just saying Quote I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
