2 12" SSD

Here's the situation. 2 12" SSD 800 RMS. Not for me for a friend. Looking at the Hifonics BXi2006D. I need some more suggestions for amps that do at least 1600 @ 1 Ohm. Nothing pricey. Trying to stay under $400.

get a planet audio vx2250d it does about 1800 at 2ohm more then enough

Actually i just edited post. Going to be 1 ohm load.. How are the Hifonics BXi series? Going to be ran in a trunk car with stock alternator and an optima yell.

EDIT: Pretty fast response accordman. ALSO whats the fuse rating on a Hifonics BXi2006D??

same Planet audio amp 2250 at 1ohm at 13v

Well 13v might not be at constant. Most likely will be 12-13 volts. How will that amp do at around 12? Website?

it will still do more then what your asking at 12v, if hes gonna run 2k anyhow he should be looking at electrical, its not gonna jusy stay at 12v all the time off stock elect

Well with big 3 and upgraded batt's I think it should be fine on stock alternator for now.

I thought the new hifonics was decent according to some reviews. Even .5 ohm stable?

I've seen numerous BXi's blow @ .5 and other people have them be fine @ .5 besides the fact that they could cook eggs on them.

Do they really get that hot? If so, I think I'm going to need more suggestions.. Either 1600-2200 @ 1 or 2 ohm amplifier.
