1999 Toyota Camry Build

I might (in the next few months) acquire a 1999 Toyota Camry. Along with neon lights, tinted windows, shoes/socks, etc. I'm going to be doing my first real system (I've got a couple 12's in a Yukon XL now, nothing special there).

Anyone done a build in one of these before? I need to use all 5 seats for sure, and I'm guessing the trunk space is limited. How many subs you think I can fit in there?

i'd say 4 12's could fit with some fancy building. utilize your space to it's maximum potential

Yeah ... that sounds like it would be awesome. I've never built a box before .. (I'm 16 y o) the box I have now was stock (I bought it) ... I'd probably have to have someone make it for me .. but that would be sick it would go pretty hard ...

its not hard if you can control a skill saw and jig saw then you can build a box im sure someone here will gladly design you one and a cut sheet of all the cuts you need o make

Wow that would be awesome! Yeah seems like everyone helps people out with boxes and the such ... anyone in the Los Altos CA area? I'll pay you of course. I don't know the first thing about building a box! Haha

I was actually over in Boston, MA for Thanksgiving (all my relatives are there) and that's where I heard about the car. It's a '99 with 6k miles on it ... incredible. Has alot of body work to be done (dents, scratches) but that's all easy ... the engine is in perf. cond. and VERY low mileage.

no problem man hey i started on forums learning and im still learning right now i was scared to start building too but i just said let me try i had 2 12 CVRs at first made them sound good but my 15" P3 beat like hell if you need hel jsut ask plenty of people who love doing this

making boxes isnt really hard at all. i love building em. some people on here will build the box for you too and ship it. if it's not too big, some dont wanna deal with that hassle

Yeah, that's so awesome. People here seem to be really nice. Whenever I get my car, I'll have someone here build it for me (I'm okay with tools but my hands are a little shaky and I'm very inexperienced. In my shop I have all sorts of saws, a table saw, etc. but I'm not very proficient (sp) with them yet, they're my father's.

Whoever is up to it can build me one and tell me how much they charge!! Haha, thanks again guys. Will let you know soon about the box/car
