My xtreme car will be in the lanes next year probably. hopefully not x2 I will probably run either class. But mainly x1 I'll only have 3k in power probably. Then it's need like a couple pieces to get the motor running. But I'm going to have 2 American bass xfl 15's in it on a powerbass xa3000. But I'll be doing something that your van can't do. First of all, we had nothing to do with any of the rule changes. These were changes brought on by the rules and ethics committee on which we have no members. Second of all, can anyone here please state an example where any member of our team cheated. Unfortunately, I do not frequent forums alot because of work and family commitments, but I just happened to browse thru this. Unfortunately, I don't know everyone on here personally, I can tell you that I would never go on an open forum and pubically slam another team or group. I have nothing but respect for the Steve Meade's of this world as well as the guy running 2 12's and a 1000 watt amp from Best Buy. Yeah the new rules have issues, but the economy is in the toilet and it is affecting everything from SPL competition to a gallon of milk. The cost of the average Street 1 SPL system at world finals was in the 2500 to 3000 dollar range. In order to make an organization grow, it has to have in influx of new competitors. The issues all organizations run into is the guy with 2 12's and the 1000 watt amp comes to a show and get murdered in the bottom class (AS1) by someone with deeper pockets. This guy has three options:(1) continue to get beat (2) do massive upgrades if he can afford it (3) never come back. Most pick option 3. These rule changes are an attempt at trying to increase the number of competitors at various events. Without new competitors, any organization will eventually die. I expect a lot of bashing and insults to come from this post, but I felt I needed to post something. Happy head hunting and just a reminder to everyone, this is supposed to be a fun hobby, not something that controls your life.
