CJ18
Decide how you want to mount them first. I don't like to have any wiggle room when mounting normally. If you decide to invert I would wait until you get the subs to cut the holes in the baffles because you want to make sure that the cutout is big enough so that the surround does not hit the cutout. Also you need to design the box based on your style of mounting so that you can get the airspace correct.
Purplehaze
Okay thanks man. Yeah, I didn't think it would make that much difference since each sub only takes up .18ft3 of displacement. I'll probably just not mess with inverting them But yeah I'm not building another box, I'm just re-building the one I just built a few months back. Should be perfect when finished, and adding the new baffle will only raise my tuning to 34hz, with each sub seeing 2.5ft^3 I just don't see a reason for wasting this box when it does so well. Plus the less time and money I have to spend on the box, the more I'll have to spend on my door panels, dash, and interior color change, which is all now underway. Stage 3 coming soon! But yeah, thanks again for always being so helpful!
