CameoCustoms
It was such a nice car and if and older person wanted it all the stereo equip would come out with out any collateral damage. It is just a shame it is not on the road. Was pretty loud for a trunk. Might end up with the same subs in a 1983 T-top Cutlass on a Memphis 1000D. Yep, I've seen many cars where old equipment has been removed & people are left with holes all over the place so they have to replace/repair panels, headliners, etc.. Try the subs in a ported enclosure next time, I bet you'll be way happier! CameoCustoms
The guy at Treo said the same thing. They were not intended for music or a sealed box. He told me there was no way it could sound good. But it was loud and you could actually hear the music with the bass. Like I said though. We had no idea what we were doing all we wanted to do was get it done and ride (Littering and....). The new set-up will be a lot better. But this was about 5 years ago. I am lucky I have any pictures at all. The first set-up those subs were in was a wall kinda. Two sealed boxes with 6cu.ft. each. This year gonna try to fit 4 DC Level 5 18's in a ported box in the back of a new Escalade. Edited January 2, 2012 by CameoCustoms
