AUDIOADDICT02 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 What up ya'll, so this past weekend one of my cousins came over with dump truck full of laminated mdf that he ended up giving me(since i do all his installs for free), so I decided to make a lil sumthin for myself for once... This is an enclosure I built for my he210's(Traded a kenwood HU for them in a sealed box), 1.5cu.ft per side at @ roughly 31HZ... Sketch: Pieces cut: Started putting it together: Port pieces: Almost done: 45's in place Holes cut-out and subs test-fitted: Sealant applied(I like the "outline" it makes lol ) All done! thing is huge! and sounded badass on my home theater! Forevrbumpn Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 great looking box man I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. Love the design That, and it seemed to me like it helps with the kerfing, doesn't let the wood crack as easily......i was skeptical about the design at first since the port turned back in towards the front of the box, but i saw Meade had a similar design in the box he built for mtx 9500s, so I got convinced to build it....
