Mr.Aircooled Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 i have two kicker comp 10's and this MA M600 2ch amp i wanted to run the subs in parallel and bridge them but i dont know if the amp would be safe bridged at 2 ohm. if its not would there be a way for me to bridge them at a higher impedence BOOZE IS FOOD

Mad_Mike Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 Actually No, that amp is only stable at 4 ohms bridged. You can't bridge those subs to this amp in any way to get more power than you'd get with them just on each channel if they're single 4 ohm coil subs. If you're looking for more power, then look into a mono amp that can do (Your subs RMS wired together) @ 2 ohms. If they RMS at 300w each, look for a 500-600w RMS @ 2 ohms mono amp. Class D Mono amps are always better for sub applications.
Mr.Aircooled Posted January 1, 2012 Author Report Posted January 1, 2012 yeah svc 4ohm i was looking at mono amps but i got a really good deal on the MA. If it puts out its rated rms i think it should power them fine i just wondered if i could bridge them. BOOZE IS FOOD
