Another one bites the dust

I think I just killed my Epic 10"

Was powering it with a Sundown SAE-1200, not the full amps power ofc, prolly like 6-800 watts, but I guess since that was over the 500W RMS of the woofer it prolly wouldn't fall under warranty Lol. Was playing it for like 5 minutes, (Less than 2 songs) and it started to smell and make a flapping sound. Took it out of the enclosure and when I push down on the cone the voice coil rubs up against the former.

Would all I need is a recone or is my sub toast? If so, oh well. Everyone likes an excuse to upgrade 'eh?

After testing it some more it still makes just as much bass, but it's got that annoying VC rattle. I think I'm gonna save up for two SA-15's and re-enclose the Epic in an 6th order for my room, so that I can't hear the VC rub as much.
