Dozier
Hello everyone, I am looking to bag my Explorer Sport in February. I am trying to start getting my stuff together and I need to know how to go about doing it. The front end is torsion bars and the rear is leaf springs. I heard I could do a universal four link on the rear and then use a torsion bracket kit for import trucks for the front or something. I am going to use something fast. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote www.AlabamaDrift.com04 Silverado in the works

meade916
i dont but i do know that if i was to bag my Hoe, which i might do, the torsion bars would be going bye - bye. Call Phil or Dan @ FBI 1-800-FBI-mini and ask them exactly what you need and they will break it down for you. sinwagon
I have a Sport Trac (same suspension) and it's really easy to bag that truck in the front. You will use our torsion bar brackets and a Slam Specialties RE-6 bag. It's a weld in bracket so we wouldn't recommend the average bear to do the install unless you have some welding hours under your belt. The rear will take some more intense modifications due to the floor. If you want that sucker to lay out, it'll take some cutting and re-welding to lift the floor. Hit me up at the shop and I'll get you into a perfect kit for what you want. Dan 877-324-6464
Dozier
Spoke to Dan...Extremely helpful and knows his stuff. I did not get to talk long to him considering I am in Japan and he wanted to put me on hold. He had like 7 more calls to answer or something. Anyways, I sent him an email and I will probably call him back soon, and work out all the stuff I need to get my Explorer's altitude a little lower to the Earth on demand. I appreciate the post for help Steve and Dan. Be good. Quote www.AlabamaDrift.com04 Silverado in the works
