Blackedout
You fight box rise by getting bigger amps. My brothers truck rises to 6-8 ohms. Clamped power was around 200-300 watts but still did a 49.x in his truck. Unless you're ray I haven't figured out how to guestimate what It will be before building and clamping. I dont think your rise Is that bad. yeah its not that bad. I just wish it was lower. If i re-cone and wire then down to .5 will that cut it in half? You gotta stabilize your voltage before you try to wire your amps lower. Dropping resistance decreases efficiency. Work on your voltage situation and rescope your amps. I bet you'll find a little more power in them. Rising to 4.7 ohms isn't bad. Trunk Build Log
Robert8252
In a perfect world yes but I don't think it works just like that. Probably get you closer to 2.x after rise. 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

Blackedout
Dual 1.5s. .75 Unstrapped daily. You'll be alright at .75 instead of 1 with your current voltage. Your coil didn't blow because you were doing something right though. That headphone jack is probably more than half your battle. Might be time to look into a deck that will do what you want it to.
