baaudio Posted January 6, 2012 Report Share Posted January 6, 2012 I've got less voltage drop now with only one D6500 in my car instead of the two, could it be the one I took out had a bad cell? It had some slight corrosion on the bracket holding it in place and was in questionable shape from the guy I got it from. It seemed fine at the time. It's currently resting at 12.7x volts which seems solid for it. I prolly won't have a chance to load test it til Monday or Tuesday. Any ideas guys? Another thought I had was that with only one battery the alternators not trying to charger both, still have stock 130 alt. Amp is Memphis pr500.1 run at 1 ohm. I do have a 4 channel as well. I was dropping to low 13s at idle with lights and heater on.
