teamace24
The audiocontrol epicenter is a must on every setup i do for people and for me as well since its needed for the spanish songs that dont have bass lines. With that said, what do people use for box tuning that affects the sound of the epicenter like what are the frequencies the epicenter creates? Is it really low frequencies like say under 32 hz or is it like i think it is but not sure, higher like around in the 42hz range? Just curious of people with the epicenter any kind of information regarding box specs or anything to with this device since i know most people on smd are most likely not spanish speaking or listen to it. But any info even like distortion issues or whatever. 1st Setup(SOLD):2007 GMC YukonPioneer Avic F90bt Audiocontrol Epicenter2 Audioque SDC2.5 15 subs8.7 cubes at 37hz build DONEAudioque 1200d (Audioque 1200d Sold, similar performance to my ap1500)Diamond Audio Hex 6.5 Mids n TweetsCerwin Vega Exl 400 4 channel Bridged(also have MTX 4004 not being used)1 Run of power Knu Fleks 4 Gauge2 Cheap stock Battery setup2nd Setup (SOLD):2007 GMC YukonPioneer Avic F90bt Audiocontrol Epicenter2 15 Kicker cvx (maybe two SA 15 in future)7 cubes net tuned at 34hzAlphasonik Old school 1600rms (ap 1500d sold GREAT Budget amp)JBL 6.5 Power Series Components, Infinity Kappa 6.5 3 ways, and 2 Kicker KS Tweets (LOUD)Cerwin vega exl4001 run knu Fleks OFC 0 gaugeBig 3 done1 Odyssey 1500, 1 optima yellow top d31
JB1991
I have an audiocontrol epicenter since corridos have no bass. I used the Torres calculator and tuned my box to around 33hz and I used the DD-1 to tune my amp to get no distortion with the epicenter. Sounds good to me and everyone else who has heard it 2000 Camaro SS Pioneer DEH-P7200hd Rockford Fosgate T1S652 Alpine PDX 4.100 DC Audio Level 3 Rockford Fosgate Punch P400.
teamace24
Yeah corridos is what is mainly for, my box is tuned to about 35hz and its also loud and clean but i always wondered what its actually doing like what hz is that bass you hear when you put chalino and cadetes and turn up the knob? Also would the epicenter sound louder/better with a lower or higher tuning? Those type of questions. 1st Setup(SOLD):2007 GMC YukonPioneer Avic F90bt Audiocontrol Epicenter2 Audioque SDC2.5 15 subs8.7 cubes at 37hz build DONEAudioque 1200d (Audioque 1200d Sold, similar performance to my ap1500)Diamond Audio Hex 6.5 Mids n TweetsCerwin Vega Exl 400 4 channel Bridged(also have MTX 4004 not being used)1 Run of power Knu Fleks 4 Gauge2 Cheap stock Battery setup2nd Setup (SOLD):2007 GMC YukonPioneer Avic F90bt Audiocontrol Epicenter2 15 Kicker cvx (maybe two SA 15 in future)7 cubes net tuned at 34hzAlphasonik Old school 1600rms (ap 1500d sold GREAT Budget amp)JBL 6.5 Power Series Components, Infinity Kappa 6.5 3 ways, and 2 Kicker KS Tweets (LOUD)Cerwin vega exl4001 run knu Fleks OFC 0 gaugeBig 3 done1 Odyssey 1500, 1 optima yellow top d31

Robert8252
Both the normal epicenter and epic160 I use can be dialed in to create bass around a certain frequency. No need for special tuning. It can adjust to the box 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff

No need for special tuning. It can adjust to the box By tuning it do you mean the wide/narrow dials on the outside, or do you mean the chips that you can take off by opening the unit? Never tried the chip part. 1st Setup(SOLD):2007 GMC YukonPioneer Avic F90bt Audiocontrol Epicenter2 Audioque SDC2.5 15 subs8.7 cubes at 37hz build DONEAudioque 1200d (Audioque 1200d Sold, similar performance to my ap1500)Diamond Audio Hex 6.5 Mids n TweetsCerwin Vega Exl 400 4 channel Bridged(also have MTX 4004 not being used)1 Run of power Knu Fleks 4 Gauge2 Cheap stock Battery setup2nd Setup (SOLD):2007 GMC YukonPioneer Avic F90bt Audiocontrol Epicenter2 15 Kicker cvx (maybe two SA 15 in future)7 cubes net tuned at 34hzAlphasonik Old school 1600rms (ap 1500d sold GREAT Budget amp)JBL 6.5 Power Series Components, Infinity Kappa 6.5 3 ways, and 2 Kicker KS Tweets (LOUD)Cerwin vega exl4001 run knu Fleks OFC 0 gaugeBig 3 done1 Odyssey 1500, 1 optima yellow top d31
