So I'm wanting to swap out all exterior lighting to LEDs, looking at the different style bulbs. Not really sure what style is best. For my tail/brake lamps I need them to be as bright as possible since they are tinted.

Looking for people's hands on experience with LED exterior lights

are you looking to do your blinkers too?, if you do you might need to change your flasher/relay to one that's led compatible. if i recall right leds in the blinker will cause the flaser to think the bulb is burnt because of the low voltage

I've got all led's in the back & the interior (off ebay)

I like em, keep in mind the lights will just blink faster when signaling without a resistor. But it's not a big deal.

I was already thinking about that, since one of my buddies had that issue on his sc400. But I had a blinker go out up front, the running light element was intact but not the signal element, and no issues with "quick blinker" lol I'll probably order the resistor if I run into the issue.

i havent done it personally, but one of my coworkers did the led blinkers in his ranger and he said the blinkers flashed way faster, but when he did it in his silverado he couldn't get his blinkers to work and he had to go to an led compatible flasher

Holy shit, those are insane. I've got some interior SMD ones that are plenty bright and bright enough for exterior, but they're waaaay smaller than those beasts.
