bobwires
Here's another oldie. A pair of Eclipse 8000's in the rear deck of a saturn. Had to remove the 'helper rods' and install shocks. 2 shocks at different angles so the lid would open evenly. all aluminum and stainless baby Tuani Fabrication Wasilla, AK

Doesn't really get any cleaner. thats a bad ass install Like button wowsers that is some nice fabrication. especially that console there at the end. love the detailed routing work, even cupholders. i spoke too soon. im gonna be here all night wathcing these amazing pic updates! youve done some awesome work. Thanks a lot for the compliments. I'm glad to help any projects I can. I have a question on the kicks. How do you pop the hood? It looks super clean and I might attempt that. Just wondering what you did there. Thanks You mean on the Silverado? I just strapped it up under the dash. You can do that with most it seems. I have an elaborate system planned out for the parking brake on my '77 Ford that includes a steel box under the seat and an actuator. push a button to set the brake! please tell me you live in los angeles, im trying to find someone that can do stuff like that for me For the right price, I'll work anywhere. For LA, the price goes up :smirk: Gotta be nelson Glad to see you here Crazy alaskan You guessed it. There are a few good fabricators in Alaska, but none so crazy 8^D more on the subie truck looks awesome I don't have more finished pics. want more of the build? This was back a few years ago. bobwires
'78 Chevy - a Harley Davidson Tribute truck A little time on the router and I had the same thing for the 6x9's in the rear JL 10w0's, Eclipse XA5000, and Infinity speakers makin' room Most people would leave it this shape - but that's not my style. I hate 'volcano boxes' with a passion. 6oz of glass down fixing the dips with foam. this was all an experiment, and I learned a lot on this job. rasp to knock it down. plaster (drywall mud) for final shaping before more glass to lock it down. speaker rings molded in. bobwires
Chevy never put any trim up here..... that's not going to work. runny, but clean layup. trim is in place with rare earth magnets foamed up the new trim and glassed it blocked it all out with the insert and gave it some rattle can flames just for fun carpet Tuani Fabrication Wasilla, AK
