Wassalla
My uncle works for a guitar shop down in philly, and he gave me an older fender frontman amp which looks to be about 10-15watts. It turns on an when i plug a cell phone or ipod into it with a 1/4in adapter, it plays fine, just a little fuzzy, But when i plug in my guitar it gets abosutely nothing. I figured it was a bad input or such because it seems stereo works fine but not mono
HatersGonnaHate
Your guitar and the pickups work, right? Dumb question, but I have to ask. Also you should be able to take the "internals" out by removing 4 screws, and there should be a fuse in there somewhere. Check that. If you have another cord for the guitar, try that too. Could be a bad solder on the ends of your current one. Wassalla
Hegave it to me not working and went through everything(externally) such as different guitars and cords and such. But i mean its playing normal music from an ipod so it must not be the fuse? cause then it would have no power
HatersGonnaHate
If you can, take it apart and inspect the internals and look for anything that's loose. You can get a good view of the input contacts too. It sounds like something isn't making contact where it needs to. Wassalla
already took it apart and everything seems fine, no bad capacitors, no bad resistors and everything looks clean and tight like it had never been opened
HatersGonnaHate
Check the resistance of the speaker? 6 or 8 ohm I believe. Or disconnect the leads from the speaker and run them to a sub you have lying around. Just tossing ideas now lol Quote My name is AdamThis is my Civic Build.7" Samsung Tab 2Kenwood KDC-X896Clarion EQS746Sundown X-15DC 3.5k @2ohmHatersGonnaHate's 02 Civic UBLELD Bypass for Honda Civic/Accord/FitDon's Jeep Grand Cherokee Rebuild N8ball2013 - i think you'd stick your dick in a blender if it told you it was 40 wtih two kids your age. lol srp365 - If posting were picking up bitches, I'd be going home single tonight looks like tony montana sneezed in your car.
