MrBalll
I searched and found two topics on this. One was Steves and one was fairly vague. In Steves video he used both Damplifier Pro and Thermal Block and it worked well. Due to the fact that I am in between jobs I don't exactly have the money for that setup at the moment. So, would I be ok to use just Thermal Block as a hood liner? Can I get away with even just using Damplifier Pro? Or should I just wait and get both. The DP looks a lot easier to lay down since it is smaller than the TB, but it's purpose isn't really for heat right? Especially not engine heat I wouldn't think. Thanks for any help. Second Skin Rep Jon
Either one will work on it's own, I should know because I had Damp Pro on my hood for several years before I added a hood liner. If I were you I would opt for just the Damplifier or Damplifier Pro, that way if later down the road you want to add the Thermal Block you can without having to remove anything. The Damp Pro will help with the heat. It will reflect some, but will absorb, retain, and slowly dissipate it. My hood stayed cool to the touch all the time I had Damp Pro on it, just LOVED it.
