bbron12 Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 So i was going to start building my ported enclosure for 2 of my type s subs, but ive been noticing that alot of the people on here are using plywood, not mdf. Whats up with that? I thought MDF was the standard for making boxes. What is the plywood people are using? Looks like 3/4 or 1" AC? Whats up with this change?
Lbox88 Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 3/4" Birch ply because it's lighter, but is also more expensive. Good cabinet quality birch because the cheap kind has air pockets between the layers UBL | Build Log
