any ways I will be making fiberglass pods to house the 6.5s in each door and fiberglass pods to house the DD T2 tweets on each side.

tweeter speaker wire!! yes its 12 gauge to all speakers in the car.

ran all speaker wires through my seal to the trunk

all wires into the trunk and all my new equipment!!

where all the power wires run through to my JL amp!!

test fitting amp. mount is temporary until I have time to make a new one. Amp is off center to allow room to mount a voltmeter next to it such as the new SMD one!!

once again, temporary wiring just to see what happens!! Oh boy do I like running an active setup!! so much easier to tune. and way more flexible. all wires will be hidden in the end. still working on it when ever I have time.

haha it helps to know people at DD as far as pricing goes , dont worry im still a broke college student. but i work my a$$ off in my free time to afford all this. valet pays well. keeps up with rent, tuition, gas, etc

and dont worry those VO 6.5s will be mounted in fiberglass podz once i have time to make them. and wire will be directly soldered to speaker termianls.

sorry updates have been slow. thanksgiving and tons of school work are giving me little time to work on the car. and colder weather and a dent in its side give me less motivation to work on it till its fixed and im used to the cold. plenty of updates coming. just need time. Currently I am building my home audio. I am throwing a party at the end of this week and I have to seal the house and basement as best I can to keep the sound in and cops away.

well, this is sad. got hit by a taxi. he was on the phone. this is what happened. i have been putting off working on the car because it might be done.

today i received bad news, but it was expected. the car is considered totalled. so now im trying to negotiate prices with insurance, but due to all the rust and the blown head gasket, i think this build thread is nearing its end... it isnt worth the repair. this is the final straw. we will know for sure by the end of the week. very sad. i put a lot of time into this...
