It prolly isn't 10k. But it is as loud or louder than my 2 z95 12s. But voltage drop is right.

i decided to build my own alt. here is the first ever version of my 270 A alt,

its a large case gm. I planned it to do 160 hot at idle. 200 cold at idle. and around 290 cold peak and 240 hot continous under 1800 rpm

remember those drawings from earlier, well i went through a cad program and got them perfect, sent the designs over to toolmaker and he made these to spec.

i designed to be able to handle 1600A+ continous and over 32000A peak for short bursts. needless to say, they are plenty.
