subwoofer recomendation/ opinion

Hi,

I am very close to re doing my system in a ext cab Silverado. I am planing on doing 4 tens up-firing under the seat. The local shop building my box recommends Memphis m class or re-audio sri subs which I think are srx series subs. I was thinking about picking up some Fi audio x series subs which have similar specs as the others. I was just needing some opinions on what you guys think on these subs or other recommendations for small enclosure subs. Also I will be running a diamond audio d6 1500.1 for lows.

Putting subs under the silverado's back seat aint going to be right... You can't really fit that much volume under there and then you don't have enough mounting space for a good sub. In my silverado I have two 18's in place of my back seat

You know you're a basshead when you take out the backseat.

its hard to fit "good" subs under there. there just isnt enough airspace for much of anything under the seat. good luck

Yeah space is a premium. I have two mtx thunder 6000 10's down firing on one side now for around nine years now and was wanting louder. The shop has done several trucks like mine in the same way and are confident that I would be pleased to the point that they recommend a full 36 sq ft box of roadkill deadener and carpet insulation to keep the roof from flexing. I don't want to lose my seat, but maybe I will raise it some, and do some more research. Thanks for the help.

I hate under seat boxes... IMO take out the back seat and build the box to replace the seat...
