Z71 Thumper Posted January 17, 2012 Report Share Posted January 17, 2012 Soo I got a 2001 Camry and I failed my emissions I replaced my catalytic converter cuz it had a crack in it and my two o2 sensors everything is brand new now I keep eying a code P0420 and it has to from my catalytic converter or my o2 sensors and I'm frustrated just spent alot of money need help with getting this fixed. Does anyone have a idea what it could be? Do I have to reset something in the computer? speeddemon0308 Posted January 18, 2012 Report Share Posted January 18, 2012 did you turn the key on when you had everything unhooked? http://www.obd-codes.com/p0420 its saying its the 02 past the cat, which shouldent hurt your e-test * as far as i have heard * clear the codes and see if it comes back.. could just be because it was all new.
