Bass Knob for Amps

Ok so right now i have 2 kicker zx1000.1 each on pushing an aq sdc2.5 dual 4 15's. So each amp as a in and out rca one for input from deck and the output to go to the next amp (not strap-able) the output is just to send the signal. So right now i have one amp from the deck then outputs to the next amp and i dont use the bass knob cuz my decks sub woofer setting will allow me to set it at -24 so if i have a song that has to much bass i wold just use it to lower the level. So now i am getting a 3 way crossover and would like to be using the bass knob from the crossover. Would i just connect the main amp that has the input from the deck's bass knob knob remote to the 3 way and use it like that or would i have to have some sort of splitter from each bass knob remote to go into the 3 way? i could get pics of what im talking about later im just at work and dont get out till 3am. I just hope it makes sense the way i typed it out.
