I have a 96 suburban with 2 SA-12's with a box tuned to 34 hz and I already made a hole for the third one. I currently have it covered. But I was told that it would b better if I just left 2 subs and left it how it now. So I was thinking what u guys think. Should I get another SA-12? A passive radiator? Or leave it be? I've never used a PR before so noooo idea how it works. Just thought I would try something new! First of all, I'm not even sure if a PR will help anything because it is in a ported box, and (going off of logic alone here) might cause you some cancellation issues. Plus, if the box is already built to the specs of having the three woofers in there, why not put the third in? But of course the third one would b louder. And I currently don't have money for a third one now.
