box specs for an aq hdc 15

Recommended Posts

That 16.54 sq in per cu ft seems like it'll be hella peaky, but then again that could be what you're going for :P

Looks pretty solid though so good luck with the build! Be sure to post some pics and videos man look forward to checking them out :clapping:

I haven't ever installed any DD/AQ products so I don't know for sure, but just based upon what I have built/seen the more port are you give it the peakier it will be. I could be wrong for specific brands though

but I would wanna be sure the first go around right?

Can you explain why it might be peaky? AQ/DD love alot of port.

well the audio shop took my job, i was originally only gonna charge 80 bucks to build this box, but my friend went to an audio shop and was tol that the box was too big and tuned too low for the sub that he needed a 2 cubic foot box tuned to 38 hz and that it would cost 160 bucks.

oh well

The only way to delete your SMD account is for you crawl to steve meades door step on your knees and pleade for his forgiveness and acceptance to be released...He will either grant your wishes.....or choke you with a large piece of 0 gauge and electrocute you by hooking up a solid gold DC 12k at 0.000001 ohm and 10000 volts to your eye sockets and blow your head apart

You guys act like you have never clogged a toilet and ran around the bathroom frantically hoping it don't overflow.

just out of curiosity, why is he keeping the back seat?

Answer to this question is I still use my back seat for an extra passanger, and for the position i like my sub in i cannot put it on the gound because of the position of my amp, if i had more movement with my amp i would remove my seat, guess i just need to play with it more just really dont have the time
