MIKE-2U
When it does that how long till it stays off ? feel if its hot next time. Is there any certain thing that when you do it , the amp turns off ? A low note? check to see if the red light is one. Professionals i would "HOPE" they know what they are doing. The dimming of the lights probaly isn't effecting it to turn off. 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee LaredoPioneer AVH- 3200DVD2/0 Flex-A-Prene Welding Cable (2) Fully Loaded Fi Sp4's dual 1-------> My YouTube Channel <------- Needs more power those woofers will laugh at that turd
Hadec
Then the amp must be overheating when the gains are set in the middle.. They are not even all the way up. Or does the -2 degree weather effect it? I made sure to warm up my car for 10 minutes. I do not have a head unit either. I am using my stock Lexus head unit and a tape/cassette to ipod jack for my iphone. My iphone has the EQ settings turned off. By the way I can't even turn off my bass since I'm using my stock head unit. I can just turn it all the way down and it still bangs. When the bass first completely turned off I immediately turned my volume all the way down. Then I would try to turn it up like a minute later while driving and it would hit one bass note then shut off again. Working on my first car audio build ever!
