Problem with amp?

The amp keeps going into protect mode.

Working on my first car audio build ever!

Currently have:

- 1996 Lexus LS400 sedan

- Diablo Hellfire Proto Amplifier

- (2) 12" Fi Bl Subwoofers

- Vented subwoofer enclosure from Perfect Soundz

- Installed by Perfect Soundz

Needs:

- Battery: probably XS Power 12V 2400

- "The Big 3"

by looking at your sig i see you havent done the big 3. that could be the problem and let me just ask what size wire did the shop use?

No because electrical is not an issue when the amp goes into protect at a low volume.

you should try and post videos here, it really sounds like a bad amp to me. the only reason i see an amp going in to protect at low volume is if you have to polarities touching each other or if they are loose on the amp out put or by the sub input

cheap terminals for the amount of power you are running, i melted my terminals once with my brutus amp BZR2400. now i run bolts for a connection

edit: why would they use 4 gauge wire and put them together? should have run 1/0 gauge instead

my amp went into protect after the terminal melted thats how i came to find out it was melted plus it has like a little nut on the inside than can get loose and not have a good contact and also making it go to protect. not saying thats the reason for your problem but it was on my set up before

Hopefully Kingsuv will get online soon, I'm sure he will know if the wiring is wrong for the amp based on the pictures.
