zoeboi954 Posted January 27, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 27, 2012 i'm not really a forum person i just watch youtube videos. but imma try to be more active. but it like weird the amps still works but the positive terminal overheated and melted the plastic around it. i have a 2nd battery less than 3 feet from and i'm using 2 gauge wire. but my theory is since my subs are fi Q 2 12s wired at 0.7 ohms on a cheap insignia 600 watt amp ( i know i can do better, no $$$) it lasted about 2 years fine with no problem than and i start to smell it melting i took it apart and i seen that the positive term solder was coming off. i know it a quick fix but it melted to much of the plastic so i thought what the heck i will just replace it. so i got my eyes on the crescendo bc2000d cause its in my price range but i just wanted to know how much the dc are. 4 Fi Q 12s In A Prius on 4 Crescendo BC2000D?!
