Souldrop
I have a Rockford Fosgate Power HX2, RFR 3112. It has pretty bad spider sag...I'm curious if there was a way to loosen the spider and reset it closer to the 0 position, or if suspending it upside down or even installing it downfiring would work. I would really rather not re-cone it. Thank you in advance! Souldrop
TTT - By a lack of response so it appears the only true option is a re-cone? Hotdog
TTT - By a lack of response so it appears the only true option is a re-cone? yea really no cure for a saggy spider. just recone it and re use your dust cap. But if your going to re-cone it might as well give that sub some hell and see what it can do Edited January 27, 2012 by Hotdog Quote (NEW) 2004 F-150 Build Log -->http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/192208-hotdogs-f-150-build-log/ 2003 Mercury Mountaineer Build Log --> http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/114380-hotdogs-2003-mountaineer-build-log-20-removed/page__gopid__1602379#entry1602379 2008 Equinox Build Log --> http://www.stevemead...g/#entry1475764
Souldrop
Alrighty then thanks for the info. I will have some fun with that sub and see what it can take :-) btw is there a reasonable place or person to get some parts to recone this sub? I've looked at the speaker exchange and from what I can tell the tinsel leads aren't stitched into the spider.
