412 CVX
don't think a sony xplod will make a good canidate for a t line. buuut the one thing that i see that that stands out is you didn't tune to the Fs. Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. MrFree
i have come across acouple of t-line box's.It looks good,if i were you i would build to the specs you have and just feel it out.Its only a sony explod,Ive seen guys just put walls together and the box sounded great. In my opinion FS is for Pro's that have the resonant freq of there car and there trying to pull everything possible out of box,woofer,etc..(IMO) with just one 10'sony,I would just play around and see what you get keep the port hole small and just try it.....(Seriously this is just IMO) R.I.P...99'Dodge Grand Caravan 03 Lancer Oz Big 3 HU-JVC KD-530 RCA's-rockerfosgate 41/2 inch Infinity mids Subs-(12's)2 Orion xtr124 Amp-Coustic600se battery-2 x stock, 1x Shuriken SK-BT20 Box-L-ported 3.562cubes@35Hz miscellaneous-stinger volt-meter, gain nob, (coming soon bass pro,eq,line drive) I dont have flex yet but damn I sound good,(coming soon....flex) Check out my HHR install Everything I install or build here:http://s1160.photobu...s/q485/MrBfree/ Also video's of my Car with the new box.http://www.youtube.c...lentGyge/videos
412 CVX
I don't think you understand the concept of a T-line... it DOES NOT work the same as a ported box. The box will sound better if it's tuned to the Fs of the sub, i don't see why you wouldn't just do it right the first time? Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs. dfarres
Another design. This one is as close as I could get the sub numbers. Port is 53.125 sq.in. Port length is about 130in long. 130/12 = 10.833 ft 1130/10.833 = 104.31 104.31/4 = 26Hz All corners will have 45's. Any comments are appreciated.
