OBI Posted January 27, 2012 Report Posted January 27, 2012 I've been talking to Mike Singer about 4th orders and he told me having the sealed sections firing toward each other is more ideal for music and brings a lower peak, and having the subs fire in the same direction, in a flat wall usually has a higher peak if using the same sealed air space in both situations. I was going to do the compression load method for my build since I want to peak very low, and play down to 20hz loud. But I ran into a problem with the location of my access ports for my fuel pump. And where they were located I can't have the sealed sections fire at each other, baffles will get in the way. So what I was wondering how much luck would I have with a 4th order with all woofers firing in the same direction, kinda like cricket's setup? Would I have to compensate and make my sealed sections a tad larger in that configuration? Any help is appreciated.

I was thinking of something along those lines. Either having all subs up with a port across the driver's and passenger's seats, or all subs on passenger's side and port on driver's side.
