Hondabiker95
Someone wants me to build them a box for their tahoe. I was wondering what would be a fair price? If this was you , what would you be willing to pay? He says if the price is right he's got a buddy that wants a box built as well. I could really use the money! I'm thinking materials (2 sheets of mdf, wood glue, screws,2x4 for bracing, a new router bit, and some caulk) will run me about $125. So anything else is profit. Any help is appreciated as this guy wanted a quote pretty soon.

Might need 3 sheets with the double baffle. But I think 400 is what I'll tell him.
Hondabiker95
This guy went and said a local audio shop would do it for 250 . I know someone who works there and I know they charge out the ass. They would charge 700 for that box.

Anything under $400 isn't worth it IMO...maybe $350 if you're leaving it bare. Lol he never bothered to text me back after I said that a buddy of mine works there and 250 would barely cover the materials. Either way, once he realizes 400 is a fair price, he could return!
