shakeyourfacez
I have the option of 2 zcon 12's in 6cft or 3 in 6cft box.....bc 5500 crescendo/320 alt/2 d3100's...the optimal box specs for the 12 is 2.5to3.25 cubes/minimal 1.75-2.5 cubes... someone told me running a extra speaker in the same air space wont make a difference is this true? falcons03079313
I would just run two with that air space and power. I'm looking into ssa subs myself so I know a lot about them
dtleonard26
If you did 3 you would have more cone area and it may be a little bit louder Quote Bagged 83 C10 89 K1500

falcons03079313
If you did 3 you would have more cone area and it may be a little bit louder They would also be underpowered and not have optimal air space as well. All a factor. If you ask me, it'll come out in a wash. IMO the two will be slightly louder but the 3 will move more air.
