matt scarlett
(UK) Poster. After a lot of thought and a lot of questions on various forums, and now I'm ready to buy and build an enclosure. I'm really, really interested in the DC 8 m2 sub. For some reason I'm prefering the 'sound' from my 8's to my 12's, so i thought I'd have a go on something serious (DC 8 m2). Planning to have a twin 8 set up, however for now I'll start with one. Question: Do i need a D class amp with a subsonic filter for either a ported or T-line box? Edited January 30, 2012 by matt scarlett
will77530
it would be better if you had an amp with one that way it will filter out the lower frequencies your box isnt tuned for.
matt scarlett
I guess my second question is: any ... low cost amp with SSF options that you'd reccomend? Edited January 30, 2012 by matt scarlett
