howelr Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 so ive decided im going to drop my sub and just get a smaller one. im looking at this amp: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_25484_Crunch-P1-5000.5.html would this be able to run my setup well? or does anyone know anything about this amp? i have 4 6" kicker KS series door speakers which are 65watt rms and 1 8" re REX which is 175watt rms i know the amp isnt really "high quality" nor will it give me outstanding results but i dont have a ton to spend on an amp, dual amps is out because i dont have the room for 2, this will probably go under my seat my max is around $180 for the amp so if you have a suggestion thatd be great
2000s-10 Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 if it was me i would just run the door speakers of my hu and put a decent little amp on my sub.. dont neep crazy loud highs to keep up with a 8... just my opinion... but that amp WOULD work for what u want it to do 1999 grand prix gt kenwood x994 head unit 1/0 big 3 all shok industry single run to the back New mid/highs coming not sure what Soundqubed q2200d at .5 (have) 2 soundqubed hdc3 12s (have) New box to be built.. sealed firing forward (yet to be designed) 200 amp alt not sure exact size or manufactor xs power batts
