Wood Posted February 1, 2012 Report Share Posted February 1, 2012 Hello, I'm New to the SMD forum and was looking for assistance with an enclosure for my 2 15" hcca's... I have a 2005 Monte Carlo and was looking to make this my LAST build on this car (this is my third build for it).. Im from dallas and I went to a couple of Orion dealers out here but none of which are giving the advice that is demanded from them... I told each of the builders that I wouldn't mind if my back seats had to be removed but all avoided the situation by wanting to build sealed enclosures.. I'm a personal fan of ported because I like my Low notes! If ANY ONE could help me design a box (ported preferably) or give me a general guideline to start with I would very much appreciate it! I feel alot of car audio shops out here in dallas are to make a quick buck and speak with no knowledge! To give a general idea, I will be running 2 DAT Hellfires (thanks to Bill aka KingSUV) approx 3000 rms to each sub, 2 x (15.2) 6K total Dc alternator, and a D3100 battery all 0 gauge wiring..
