Dailyspl Posted February 4, 2012 Report Share Posted February 4, 2012 Now i know low hz music doesnt destroy your eardrums........but ive had about a 148 daily driver for almost 2 years (2 xl 18s) on only 2k rms. .....and i can notice a small difference in my earing...............but my question is for those who have had like a 150 plus dd for many years how is your hearing??? How loud do you crank your highs to keep up with that bass? Low notes can still do *some* damage over time, just not nearly as much as the 1kHz+ range can. Distortion on your highs can make it even worse. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 . I do crank them up fairly loud sometimes..but only when i give a demo...wanting to get a better front stage though .
