Recommended Posts

its goin in a 95 civic trunk. im not 100% sure on subs yet was goin to order these http://www.audiosavings.com/products/10-Inch-Car-Subwoofer/Quantum-Audio-QAW10D2-10%e2%80%9d-625w-RMS--2500-Watts-Dual-2-Ohm-Car-Sub-Subwoofer/QAW10D2.aspx but am now thinking about geting 2 dc level 3s and then getting the other 2 after. yea i was originaly goin to build it in two boxes and finish it off with a solid piece to make it look like one.

Yeah I'm using these and eventually want to upgrade. Not sure what subs I will upgrade to but I will be upgrading around August/September time.

Kickercivic, the DCL3 requre 0.65 cuft so a similar design is possible but will be tighter, ported is harder with 1 cuft per sub.

yea. i want to angle the two out side ones and have the centre 2 flat. thats why i am also curious to see how he makes out with faceing the subs to the front vs the back because i might face the to the trunk so i can go ported. i plan on useing as much of the trunk as i can either way.

well for my car it didnt sound different. i tried facing forward and it was about the same volume and clarity. i did adjust the boxes so the middle ones arent so close to each other and it got louder. i guess at first i had a little cancellation. and i was thinking of that same design but it wouldnt fit in my trunk without cancellation. but im sure your trunk is way bigger than mine. my brother has a 95 accord and it has a huge trunk. i keep trying to get him to put a system in it but he doesnt want to spend the money it would cost for a nice setup.

i got a short video today.my camera died after one song. i will have another video tomorrow of 2 or 3 songs. while messing around while my camera was charging i found an amazing song. Competition Hertz by Bass Mekanik is perfect for these subs. It hits super loud and still sounds clear. So tomorrow that will definitely be one of the songs. Check back tomorrow evening for another video. Tell me what you think for this short video.

Glad 4 10" sealed were loud enough for you, there is a guy on here with a 12000W amp and subs to match looking to redo the box because is not loud enough...

And I was wondering what amp are you using?

MBQuart ONX 1500.1D. Probly on August i will upgrade to Sundown E-10s and probly a 2500 watt amp.

The1500.1D is enough for those 4 little guys if you upgrade amp I would recommend new speakers.

I will be getting Sundown E-10s and use the MBQUART and if I need it louder I will upgrade the amp. I won't upgrade the amp if I don't have to.
