Mr.BassMan
Anyone know what I'm hitting on db's? I mean, it's loud.. but not omg loud (to me).. i guess im losing my hearing maybe (lol). I can do small hairtricks, and get a 3-4 inch roof flex.. It flexes the car windows, and doors. I was told it's playing music in the mid 140s, but if it is in the 140s i figured 140 db would sound much louder than what it does.. The box is 9 cf tuned @ 31hz ported at the side. Mr.BassMan
I wouldn't be posting this, if I had a meter. I'm not looking for an exact number, just an estimate. ryanFA5
There's no way of telling man. There's just way too many factors involved to even think about making a guess. So save yourself some time and wait to get it metered later down the road. Just enjoy it man. 2010 Civic SI sedan: Crystal Black Pearl All stock. Purplehaze
Mid 40's from two L7 15's is about right. You can always look on youtube and see what others are doing. But that's about it. You may find someone doing a 50 from 2 L7 15's, but I promise that with whatever their tuning is, it sounds like ass... Mr.BassMan
Yeah i've seen them burping 150s with them, but it was a 50hz tune though. my box isnt tuned that high lol. but if its in the 140s, it was loud the first time i heard it. not so much anymore, i guess im losing my hearing lol. Yeah with your box tuned @31 I'd say 45 would be about right. What kind of vehicle is it in? Not a very good comparison, but I did a 148.0@ 43hz w/ 3 - L5 12's in 7.5ft3 box tuned @33hz, and one of my coils was already toast. I believe she has a 49 in her. But like I say, not a very good comparison. Purplehaze
I bet it sounds pretty good? You know if it don't seem loud anymore, you could always add a third sub, wire that 2500 down to 1.34 before rise, and build a 4th order box. You'd prolly be doin' 50's on music then, or damn close! Oh and btw nice setup! I like your box!
