Learnin Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 how much power can one AQ 3.0 18 handle safely? they are rated 1000rms i was looking at either two of them on two 2.2ks or 3 on a 3.5k... which would be best assuming i have a good box?
01ExSport Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 From what I've seen, if you give them clean power in the right sized box the norm is a 2200 on 1, or a 3500 on two.
mlstrass Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 2 on 2 2200's or a 3500.1 would work well. Ffor 3 subs I'd want 3 2200's, or alum coils and 3 3500.1's. If you're smart they can take a lot of power, especially for short periods at a time.
