Right now I am running a Sundown SA-12 in a ported box with an Alpine MRP-M500. (Previous sub was an Alpine Type R SWR-1242). I can get an Alpine PDX-600.1 amp for a decent price which will match the RMS of the sub, but I don't know if it will make a big difference. Can anyone give me some insight into what the difference will be if any? (Or if someone can recommend me another budget friendly amp, would be appreciated.
