Second Skin Audio

Spectrum/Sludge Shelf life

Recommended Posts

Got 1.5 gallons or so of spectrum from a local today, has been sitting for about a year maybe longer. The smaller container has had the sludge mixed in the spectrum and was wondering if the 2 containers are still good.

I have pictures of needed.

Is it dried up any? Also has it ever been frozen? Pics of course would help.

Typically it's best to be used within 6 months to a year after it's been opened so long as it is stored correctly (sealed well and not allowed to freeze).

Give the Spectrum a good mixing and see if it returns to a thick pudding like consistency.

The Sludge looks a little bit dried out (could just be the lighting though).

You can always mix the two as they are the same product just different viscosities.

Ok cool, then the Sludge should be fine. Just give everything a good mix before using.
