Lol so I have learned. Lol I did ask if the port volume at 13 is okay or should I shoot for more volume...which will cause me more headache...

eh, it's okay. whenever i do a design, i do 15-16 Inches per cube 90% of the time.

13 should be alright. if you wanted to be sure you had enough port area, go for at least 14.

and don't worry haha. all the headache will pay off once the box is built. use the calculator a few more times and you'll get the hang of it. it takes me about 10 minutes or so to get a design done with the calc :)

Just say no to Ground Pounder Customs.

More box builds

some cars do over 170db with one sub, so clearly my two 12"s can do that in my car, with my knowledge too! look out bitches!

I'm with captain stupid.

Alright here's my closest one, although I shaved off a few on my volume, I think this would do justice. What you guys thinking?

LOL@Kranny

Just because you have more power going to a sub doesn't mean you can keep shrinking the volume and the power magically makes up for the completely different box characteristics. 100w over rms is nothing because. The above box is fine, stick with the 3cuft you have and don't forget to add any bracing displacement you have (will be minimal, a few dowel rods will be way less than .1cuft)
