amp terminal problem..Could I run the left negative to the right negative and still get stereo rating

I have a Coustic600se it is rated at 2ohm stereo,but when i tryed to wire 2 ohm stereo nothing worked..I used a multimeter and found that my left stereo terminal is not working.Everything else seems fine.I can bridge from left positive to right negative and I get power. The right stereo terminals seem fine,its just the left negative im guessing is the problem..Does anybody know how i can fix this.Could I run the left negative to the right negative and still the get the rated power for 2ohm stereo...Thanks

No, you will be operating in bridged mode if you in any way shape or form attach the left channel to the right channel.

If you are going to run in bridged mode you must go from the positive of one channel to the negative of the other as well. Linking positives or negatives can damage older two channel bridgeable amps that were not made with "strapping" in mind.
