ChevyBoy95
SS? WIth 2 m2 XLs running on 1 5k, with the system tuned properly there should be no need for a break in period. I would suggest investing in a DD1 and CC1 to properly set your amps. I already have them. I just turned everything down for now so i dont break anything until a new box is done. Tuned with the -10 tone and 26hz SS they dont like it at all problem, do it with the -5 Quote Best Score to Date : 160.5 dB Outlaw (47Hz)[4 XM 15's & 2 Taramps Bass 12k's] BL : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/147800-chevyboy95s-4-15s-7krms-wall-1533-db-on-half-power/YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/hitemwiththeflex/

It was supposed to be tuned to 32hz but I guess im a tard and did something wrong. And the other question. I think its the 38hz note. The louder bass line
HazeGrey75
The first box I tried them in was my old level 4 box which was lacking a bit of port area. They where OK there until they started getting loose. It was only temporary.

Im deff getting some excursion. Ive never seen a sub move like these are, minus the big excusion woofers like the new chinese junk XXX and W7. I think they are moving just a few mm to much though. I added .5 cubes to it last nigh to see if it would help. I dont think it made any difference at all.
Soapbox
1.5 per sub with 15sq of port works. I just raised my box tuning from 35; where it would play 25hz np, to 38hz to try and gain on the tl. Look for some new tl results in the next couple of days. Next move will be shrink the box down to 1.2.
