carshateme Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 Was messing around with audacity and I noticed a HPF on it, I pushed it and it took away the high clipping on the song. Does this eliminate the clipping or is it still there, because on the program it's no longer clipping..sorry for the noob question. I just dont want to be clipping my high and mids New build coming soon. Decaf Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 facepalm you got rid of the bass, making the song quieter and below 0dB. mids/highs will sound the same
Guest Posted March 6, 2012 Report Posted March 6, 2012 still clips. audacity just doesnt show it because its not above 0db. impossible to remove clipping unless you zoom in 100x and reshape every hill and valley of the sine wave
