Like 2 3500s vs 1 7k amp I always thought the enclosure determined rise. Somebody explain to me please. Think of it this way. your rise is going to be there. however you can have that rise going to one amp or you have the same rise going to two amps. You will find many people who argue this both ways. You'll also get the same argument for strapped vs unstrapped amps as well. Nate you have two 3500s right? You can test this. Strap your amps and then try them gain matched. See what nets you more. LoudBimmer Posted March 8, 2012 Report Posted March 8, 2012 With 2 amps strapped @ 1 ohm, each amp will have .5 load. So after rise, it will be closer to 1 ohm load rather then 1 amp @ 1 ohm will rise higher.

Thats what its all about in the end. in theory a gain in DBs in the same install will have the power as the variable to determine change.
